Always have some cash with you.
It is a fact, that Berliners hate credit cards. A lot of local coffee shops or restaurants do not accept them, so always have some cash with you. The best place to exchange your money is at Central Station. ATM provision may be around 3.5-5 euro. And…yes, in our hostel we do accept all kind of Cards.
Be prepared to drink a lot of beer.
Berliners love drinking beer and since drinking is legal all over the city, grab our favorite Berliner Kindla at one of the Spatkauft and feel the true spirit of the city.
